Jeffrey Epstein

What is truly shocking about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal is the ease with which he moved in exalted circles and the number of institutions of wealth he had access to. Epstein had only to pick up his cellphone and dial for British Royalty, a head of state, a CEO of a multinational corporation, top  Wall Street traders and what have you. His calls were answered immediately. As for his emails, celebrities went out of their way to send him gushing platitudes, in the manner one would for a well-known scientist or Noble Prize winner. Why was this happening? Did people think the bubble would never burst, or were they indebted to Epstein in some way? He was known as a “fixer,” that is someone who knows the ropes in the world of espionage and subterfuge and is able to wield influence in the corridors of power. He was not a mere “influencer”, capable of beguiling innocent viewers to his point of view. Instead, he was a real mover who was capable of shaking up the establishment at the drop of a hat, if his bidding was not done. Let’s examine Epstein’s activities:  And what was he charged with: In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty on the above charges and was given am 18-month sentence in a private Florida jail along with work release privileges. All protests against this uncannily lenient sentence where ignored. A leopard does not change his spots and once again in 2019, Epstein was arrested in New York under charges of sex-trafficking with minors and conspiracy. He was also alleged to have masterminded a scheme through which victims used to recruit other girls, who were then exploited. This time he had gone too far and was found dead in his cell in August 2019. Was this suicide? That is the subject of a separate investigation. What is truly disturbing is the way his heinous sexual crimes overshadow his financial misdeeds. Epstein’s wealth At the time of his death, Epstein was worth close to $600 million. In addition, he owned a huge luxurious house in New York City, two islands, a ranch in New , along with an apartment in Paris. He also owned cars, a private jet, works of art and several investment accounts. Unanswered Questions 1. Why are Epstein’s financial misdoings being ignored ? 2. Is Epstein actually dead? 3. Who was shielding him from the authorities? 4. After being convicted in 2008, why did Epstein return to his old way of life. 5. Has all of Epstein’s ill-gotten wealth been tracked and seized ? 6. Why are the Epstein files not being sent in their entirely to states where the top echelons have been named? 7. Is Epstein  merely a front man for someone else? If so, who is the real mastermind.
